Monsoon season is here and some of the recent thunderstorms have badly hit the local road network just on time when you're returning from an outside-town trip with your own unique employee, your newly established trucking company. You have a CK1500, a Kodiak and a 2070 Fleetstar, the two trucks have a few upgrades, but that is a humble beginning.
While you were out of the city, things continued to move, and you will find 3 employers who want you to transport them. If things stay that way, you can soon buy new trucks.
You find that, before running your trucks off the paved road, the tough dirt roads are drying up quickly, but in the low areas the sand still is moist and quiet soft. If you're hung up, it can be a problem. The dirt roads are so bad that if you drive over them, it won't be easy, but if you hang and you start spinning rolls on the spot you can start digging a hollow, you must be careful.
As you are about to pull down the city, a local township employee is waiting by the garage, and while you park your car, it seems to you that he is in a hurry.
Gameplay Notes
18 contracts + a few tasks, 2 point loads are easy to start contracts and become larger later. I think about a multiplayer x3 cargo version, not sure if anybody would want it.
You start with lvl 30 and 5000 gold (for unlocks).
Balanced mainly with US 6× 6 lorries, but some contracts can benefit from a larger lorry.
Be clever, help yourself with a second truck or crane or both, roads can be difficult and contracts sometimes difficult.
You can hack your winch on a bush, no spiderman's gameplay; you'll see how it is.
Map is more precision driving, looking ahead and following the right track, mud just in just a handful of places, so you don't have to wind in boring mudpits.
Map concentrates on transporting loads from A to B, scouting is not required.
Before there were coop mod maps, I came up with the quest structure, so the quest structure was made for single player. It works in multiplayer, it's linearer at first after it opens.
This is my very first SR map, and I hope that it's all perfect and as good as it can be, but I know that something like that isn't easy.
Balancing a map is annoying and difficult, some people may think it is too easy, some might think it's too difficult or unfair, others like weak trucks, and some just take the best trucks or bring crazy mod trucks. All of this cannot be accounted for. If I'm playing in a United States region I just use American trucks and only RU trucks in a RU region, so that's what I did here and you can play a full map of US trucks, and gameplay should be a challenge in places. That was what I wanted to achieve, I hope I got close to that objective. If anything I tried not to go too straightforward and stay at the top of the difficulty spectrum.
