The "Electroids Species Pack" mod for Stellaris 3.8.x introduces a unique race of Electroids, focused on unconventional mechanics for existence and survival in space. Key Features of Electroids:

5 New Origins:
- The mod offers five unique scenarios, each providing interesting opportunities for your empire. For example, you can colonize the orbits of stars and black holes, use nebulae, or even attempt to avoid the catastrophe of a dying star. These origins add deep strategic variability to your gameplay.
Civics:
- The mod adds 10 new civics that grant your government unique bonuses and mechanics. You can:
- Enhance ships and technologies,
- Gain bonuses for territorial conquest,
- Use special mechanics for galactic domination.
Compatibility and Issues:
- The mod is designed for Windows but should also work on Mac and Linux. It is compatible with other modifications and can be used in multiplayer. Some balancing may be challenging as the gameplay with Electroids differs from standard species.
Unique Traits:
- Electroids feature 11 new traits that allow you to modify your species and manage their characteristics for optimal performance. You can create unique trait combinations to enhance interactions with new origin and civic mechanics.
New Bonuses:
- Centrifugal Terror – A new type of weapon: for each enemy population destroyed, you gain pops for your empire and a bit of unity.
- Burnout – A risky but powerful ability allowing you to transform your population into mighty beings.
New Fallen Empire:
- The mod adds a new fallen empire called the Realm of Nova. This powerful civilization will not harm you if you leave them alone, but their systems are guarded by a formidable fleet and contain valuable resources.
Spaceships:
- The mod adds 3 variants of "Unbidden" crisis ships in blue, orange, and green colors. These ships are taken from the vanilla game but will feature different designs for megastructures. You can use these ships as Unbidden (blue), Furious (green), and Aberrant (orange) in your empire.
Portraits:
- The pack includes several portraits for Electroids, which will be expanded in the future.
