Improved Space Battles (ISB) aims to improve both the visual and the gameplay of the Space Battles of Stellaris. This is the ISB's standalone balance portion and contains gameplay changes designed to balance and promote widespread space fighting. For the best experience, use this mod with Improved Space Battles [Graphics] which focuses on graphical tweaks for more epic space battles. This mod is designed for large (1000+) star galaxies for long games. However, through Empire policies you can reduce the difficulty for smaller galaxies.

Enhanced Space Battles is a mod designed to: speed up the early game. Promote strategic wars in the middle by allowing players to build defenses which restrict the ability of the enemy flotilla to just cross the whole border with FTL. Set up the final game to fight massively against other empires and galactic invaders. It also modifies the AI fleet in order to reduce large struggles.

Fallen empires, crisis events (ED Invaders, swarm, AI) and other challenges at the end of the game are all massive to make the game a challenge and a fun game. Weapons reworked to improve equilibrium. HP/Armour defense stations greatly buffered and maintained to enable more strategic warfare over and above blind aggression.
