The mod adds unique resources to terraformed Mars that make the planet special. Players playing as the Human Commonwealth or United Nations of Earth receive an additional bonus of 250 Unity units for fulfilling humanity's age-old dream of making Mars a habitable planet.

Installing the Improved Mars mod / Improved Mars for Stellaris:
Manual Method:
- Download the archive with the mod and unzip it.
- Copy the folder with the mod files to the path:
- C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\workshop\content\281990\.
- Copy the .mod file to the path:
- C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod.
- If the folders are missing, create them manually.
- Launch the Launcher, find the mod in the list, check the box next to it and start the game.
Automatic method:
- Use Irony Mod Manager for automatic installation (detailed instructions are available on the mod manager page).
