These cars have been extensively modified. My goal was to create Restomods is a combination of “restoration” and “modernization.”In the automotive world, it refers to restoring a classic car while keeping its original style and character, but upgrading it with modern technology and components.
A full tune that not only upgrades the engine also updates the transmission, gearbox, clutch, suspension and brakes with modern components.
The cars retain the essence of their original models. But Quattro and Escort now have a more lively rear end, while the NSX-R, M3 and Mk1 like its modern counterpart now features AWD.
Many of you asked me about some iconic models that I hadn’t included in my previous mod. They aren’t there because I had something different in mind for them.
Some friends who have tested them online on servers that allow mods consider them to be good Sleepers.
There are many hours of work invested in making everything work properly. Everything has been adjusted to avoid issues.
If you don't like tuned cars, don't download them. For those who do, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. If you have any constructive criticism, feel free to message me.
Installation
Extract the .kspkg and .json files to:
C:\Users\<USER>\Saved Games\ACE\mods
(Create the folders if they do not already exist.)
In-Game
Inside the game, the cars can be found under the EVOFORGE manufacturer. Select the Tuned by Danrol model and add it to your garage.
The cars cannot be customized in the Showroom. The specifications shown there do not reflect the cars’ actual characteristics. I can't change them, so only the specifications of the original cars are displayed.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Before to drive you need to enter in the car's setup menu, when you are in the pits or box to configure the vehicle.
When you enter, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING. Simply go back. You will notice that the car lowers its suspension. This is necessary to load the setup correctly, as it does not happen automatically.
This mod is based on the cars created by Kunos Simulazioni for the base version of Assetto Corsa EVO. All credit for the original cars goes to Kunos Simulazioni.
This mod was created using the EvoForge program.
I don't accept any kind of payment or donations. I made these simply because I enjoy creating, and even more so driving them.
Have fun!

As I’ve been asked about this privately, maybe I haven’t explained it very well, so I’ll clarify it in case it might help someone else:
For example, if you join a time trial session at a circuit, go into Car Setup in the pits, and exit without changing anything, the setup will have loaded. You’ll notice the suspension is lower, then you go out on track and crash. No problem just go back to the pits the car repair automatically and you don’t need to go into Car Setup again; it stays loaded for that session. However, if you change to a different circuit, the first time you need to go into Car Setup again and out for the setup to load.Let me know if I help you or not.
It's takes like a 10 seconds to load the car config enter and out every session and you don't need to do anything more.
Hi, I’ve tried all 5 Restomods.
They’re definitely something different from the previous mod you released.
My favorite is the M3. It’s great to drive, has plenty of character, but is still very manageable, and it’s incredibly fast without feeling unrealistic.
The Golf works well too, much better than the stock version, but it looks a bit ugly like this.
Thanks for continuing to work on and share high-quality car mods for ACE.
There are practically no mods for this simulator. The base game has very few cars, and you quickly get bored of driving the same ones, even though they’re very well made. And nowadays, most of the AC1 conversions fall apart at the first corner.
I’m really looking forward to seeing whatever you’re working on and whatever is coming next!!!
Thank you@luvijafe really appreciate your feedback!
