1989–1995 Civetta Nuova Bolide

Hello, I present to you my greatest creation: The Civetta Nuova Bolide!

This mod features a full-on facelift and next-generation evolution of the classic Bolide. After many months of work (some wasted due to technical problems) and two months of paid Early Access, the mod is finally released on the repository.

For the 1989 model year, Civetta refreshed the "old" Bolide with a completely new look, reinventing its image. Lacking the budget for an entirely new platform, they stuck with what was proven to work. The Nuova Bolide became a major sales hit for Civetta, thanks to reduced prices and added luxury features like ABS—making it feel less like a go-kart with body panels.

📖 Lore

The Nuova Bolide was produced from 1989 to 1995. During this era, Civetta perfected the Bolide formula and produced numerous special editions, marking a period of innovation for the company:

• First in the industry: Automated Manual "CDM" Transmission

• Racing debut: Entered the up-and-coming GTone CUP (later renamed GT-I)

• One-make racing: Hosted their own "Clubsport" series

• Safety innovation: Added Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

• Materials innovation: Among the first manufacturers to utilize carbon fiber

• And much more...

Throughout the 1990s, the car became a movie icon, as Civetta lent vehicles for free to gain popularity. In 1993, the Civetta-Bruckell GTone #4 won the GTone Championship, adding prestige to the company's rich motorsport history.

This mod is definitely a step in a great direction—a massive improvement compared to my previous mod (the modern PUR pack). It's like going from PS2 to PS3. I plan to add more content in future updates, such as:
