I haven't heard of any modders going to jail over this, as this is a cash penalty, not applicable to jail time, and at that, I've heard more leakers getting into problems than modders, since what leakers are doing is ACTUALLY a felony (covered under Product Liability and Online Resale laws).

@Moosbach Mods The reality is that even though its highly unlikely they would do anything... some modders have gotten bent over and lost everything over it as well. So you should be careful and not so arrogant. We've seen modders lose their homes and even go to prison for doing exactly what you are doing now. You assume that because you are small potatoes they don't care, but they like to make examples of people once in awhile. You shouldn't want to be that person. Also, if you have talent for making mods, you should put that effort into making your own brand. Wouldn't that be more exciting anyways? Have your own car brand in the game that becomes popular based on your work. Way more memorable.
