HALEAKALĀ (MAUI) — v1.1
ROADS
-Smoother main highways
-Fixed spikes along road edges (36 km of highway) and at the Alae Rd / Kekaulike Ave junction
-Fixed jumps and a stray road strip on Crater Road
-Dirt roads no longer paint over asphalt
-Polipoli Ring access road: edge lumps removed, ramps flush
-Guardrails straightened across the whole map (no more zig-zag rails)
DRIVEWAYS (REWORKED)
-All 1,212 house driveways rebuilt as solid ramps with concrete curbs on both sides
-Ramps follow the slope of the street: no more twisted or stepped driveways
-Driveways no longer stick out onto the road
-No terrain poking through ramps or curbs; ramps and curbs sit firmly in the ground
POLIPOLI RIDGE ESTATES (REBUILT)
-Smooth 870 m street, sidewalks, curbs, lawns, white wall
-16 luxury houses, gatehouses, street lights, palms and flowers
-2 new spawns
POLIPOLI RING
-Paddock rebuilt: pit garages on flat terraces, all decorated
-Cones along the access road
-New car park: 92 bays, 6 pit garages, lights, new spawn
-New track entrance: fresh asphalt, kerbs, grass, rock walls, lights, arch, stop line, edge line opened across the entrance
-Dirt mound on the track surface removed
COAST
-Sea walls are now natural rocky slopes into the water
-Boulders removed from the end of the roads at 10 beaches
-Fishing boats, larger fishing vessels and sailboats on the water
FIXES
-Paddock tents now visible
-"IMPORT FAILED" road sign fixed

I was thinking of making a real life inspired map but I dunno how to start, any tips?
Best map I've played in a lonnnnnnnng time. Very worth it.
One thing I would change though, the asphalt is too grippy. I used f11 and edited the terrain paint ground model to old asphalt and it was significantly more fun for me.
Otherwise a well made map. The dirt roads are nuts too and If okay, I plan on making some rally scenarios for this. It's so challenging and some of the corners actually juke ya lol. I'll be flying into a corner thinking it's gonna be easy but no, it ends up being a technical corner that sends ya sideways off a bank and rolling 734 times down the mountain lololol
Great job and keep the updates coming!
Also, amazed with how small of a download size this was. Only 142mb is mind blowing.

good tip on the asphalt, gonna try it the way you did (switching it to old asphalt) and see how it feels. if it’s more fun i’ll put it in the next update
and go for it with the rally scenarios, the dirt roads were made for exactly that lol. send them my way when they’re done, would love to try them
