BeamFR v1.0 - First Response
What is this mod?
BeamFR is a detailed police mod for BeamNG.drive. This is not just another annoying chase game: here you become a real officer who pulls over vehicles, checks documents, searches trunks, and decides who goes home and who gets fined. Everything is logically connected to deliver a genuine career feel.
What does the mod do? (The important stuff)
- Speedometer: Flags speeders, and values can be inserted directly into a ticket with a single click.
- License Plate Reader: Automatically checks passing vehicles.
- Traffic Stops: Walk up to the window and request documents (which can be fake). Drivers react (calm, nervous, or rude), and you can order them out, cuff them, or have the vehicle towed.
- Vehicle Search: Interiors and trunks can be searched separately to look for weapons or drugs.
- On-Board Computer (MDT): Check individuals and vehicles in the database using a customizable interface.
Why you will like it:
- Smarter Traffic: Your patrol car won't cause massive pile-ups—traffic will cleanly pull over. Criminals only flee when they actually have something to hide (stolen cars, drugs, weapons).
- Real Challenge: Every vehicle has its own "truth," and improper fines are scored by the system.
Before you install – Please read:
- Built for BeamNG.drive 0.39.
- Do not run the full version and the demo at the same time.
- Alters a performance-related setting: disables simplified traffic to allow vehicle searching (may cause an FPS drop; on weaker PCs, set traffic quality to Simplified in the MDT).
- Automatically disables the stock police system upon activation to prevent conflicts (restored upon exiting).
What is this?
The free demo version of BeamFR, allowing you to safely test the basics of the mod before investing in the full version.
- Speedometer & License Plate Reader: Try out the core tools to spot speeders and check passing vehicles.
- Smarter AI Traffic: Experience how the traffic behaves with the mod's initial logic.
- Minimal MDT & Radio: Get a hands-on feel for the basic interface and radio features before upgrading.
(Note: Do not run the demo and the full version at the same time, as they will conflict due to their internal names!)
Price:
Early Access: v1.0 costs $6 right now. Buy it today, and all future updates are automatically included. As content expands, the price may increase to $7, and later potentially up to $9.Next update: v1.5 (Coming soon!)
- Alcohol / drug tests for drivers
- Vehicle roadworthiness inspection
- Interesting vehicles in traffic
- Dedicated website with a forum
- New radio audio
Looking further ahead, v2.0 may also arrive with actual accidents, emergency calls, and countless other features, though even fewer details are being shared about that for now.
Enjoy your police career!

This will get leaked
I bought the 1.5 pack before the 1.7 update; how can I get it? Please tell me I don't have to pay for it again.
@Kövee Oh, okay, I just saw the email thanks!
@Timeo You never have to pay for new updates again... upon purchase, you'll receive an email from which you can always download the latest, most up-to-date package.
how to add this to beamng drive?
I am not good in those thinks
@Eczyaj Hi! Press ESC, go to the Mods menu, select Mod Manager, and then click Open Mod Folder. Drag and drop the mod you downloaded from here into that folder. After that, press ESC again, go to HUD Apps, and add the BeamFR Radio to your UI.
oh yeah guys btw I'm pretty sure the dude vibe codes alot cuz he just released his website and it def AI and also his comments are AI too I think
"Early Access: v1.0 costs $6 right now. Buy it today, and all future updates are automatically included. As content expands, the price may increase to $7, and later potentially up to $9."woaw
Bro there are free repostery mods with the same exact stuff you made for 6$ T_T
@Kövee can't blame you, I have done the same mistake. I'm looking foward to try your mod, but not at this price. Take care
@embrayage Hey! ...the whole development started out under the name beampd, I can even send screenshots where the mod is already working under the name beampd... I just realized there were many similar attempts under that name and it would get mixed up with mine... BeamFR seemed cleaner, so towards the end of development I tried renaming everything to BeamFR, but some leftovers probably stayed behind.
Hello @Kövee, I'm the creator of Dispatch+. can I ask you why your files are named beampd just like dispatch+ ? and this story of early supporters looks weird, you don't seems to have any patreon and your ko-fi store is brand new with seven purchases. No forum post about any dev, no discord... You looks sus dude really. I would love to be wrong, can you please enlight me on this subject ?Btw, 9$, the price you want to ask in the future is nearly 33% of the full game price
@Willam Thanks for the kind words about the idea, I totally understand that not everyone wants to or can pay for mods, but I have to keep it fair for the supporters who invested in the Early Access to help me build this.... that is exactly why I released a free Demo version too, so you can try out the core basics there to see how it feels!
@Kövee not saying that your mod is bad, i love your idea and sadly i cant try out the paid version but i did find one named "policeroleplay-beta" i do wish i can try your paid version.
@Bob Dole Hello! I actually tried out Dispatch+ myself, it has a lot of features, but also minor bugs and a clunky interface, plus it requires a larger mod like RLS Career.
By contrast, BeamFR is 100% independent and standalone, when I started developing this, Dispatch+ didn't even exist yet, and I couldn't find anything remotely comparable, we basically announced our mods at around the same time.
BeamFR will keep evolving day by day, for that $6 you get continuous bug fixes and support alongside the mod.... this paid option is a sign for me that it's worth putting effort into it and building a good mod because there is a huge demand for it ...
What do you think would be the right approach regarding the mod?
@Kövee It's called Dispatch+. While I'm not knocking your mod, it should have features that justify a price. As it is now, it includes only slightly altered aspects of Dispatch+ besides the ui MDT. I'm not sure what this offers that justifies a price when the repo mod includes almost everything you have and more.
@personthatexists Hey! Could you please name or link a free repository mod that has all of this combined in one: an interactive computer/MDT, a full identification system, a ticketing system, a license plate reader, a speedometer, and smarter AI traffic? I'd genuinely love to check it out if it exists.
