Dashcam Overlay UI

This mod adds a fully customizable and immersive dashcam overlay to the game's UI, featuring multiple dashcam models, realistic GPS data, and various alert systems to enhance gameplay and recording.

Key Features:

Multiple Dashcam Models: Choose from several built-in dashcams:

BeamCam (default in-game style).

Flyer (a fictional brand created by the community).

Professional (clean, no logo).

Custom: Use your own logo, font, and model name for personalization.

Realistic Data Display:

GPS Information: Shows current coordinates with a realistic signal delay.

G-Force Meter: Live G-force readout.

Time & Date: Displays in-game time with a configurable date format.

Audio Alerts: Features 6 different beeping sounds and 3 voice alert options to choose from for events or warnings.

Visual Theme: Comes with a default orange color scheme for clear visibility.

How to Install & Use:

In-game, press the Esc key to open the menu.

Navigate to Settings > UI Apps and click "Add app".

Select "Dashcam Overlay" from the list of available apps.

You can now resize the overlay window and rearrange your UI layout. Click "Back" twice to apply.

To access the dashcam's settings (model, alerts, etc.), click on its logo in the bottom-left corner of its window.

Tips for an Authentic Experience:

Use the Relative Camera view (default key: 5) for a classic dashcam mounting perspective. Adjust the camera position with WASD keys.

Bind keys for Zoom In/Out to adjust the Field of View and frame your shot.

You can bind a key to Hide UI for clean recording, but remember this also hides menus—you'll need to press the key again to restore the UI.

Known Issue:

After refreshing the UI (F5), a browser autoplay policy requires a user click before audio alerts will play again. The mod displays a message to guide you.
