If you want this to work: download and install giants editor; open editor and open file in data/maps/map01.i3d look for "collectablegoldnugget" or something like that and then take the same file name from this mod and replace it in the editor for the same file. save the map and start your game. You should get an error warning when you start the game; just click continue anyway and load up your map...and voila !
