Understanding the Improved Farm Creation in Farming Simulator 19
There’s a lot of hype around the Farming Simulator 19 and all the exciting new features it will be coming with. One of the most highlighting features is the new system for creating farms that will allow you to have a lot more control over the way you build your farm.
The main component of this feature is going to be the change in your land ownership. Unlike before when you could only buy single fields, you will now be allowed to purchase tracks of land that will include different a lot more than just fields, such as forests and space for building different buildings.
You can then use this land for pretty much everything you want to, including for fields, pastures, storage spaces as well as getting lumber from the existing resources in your newly-acquired land.
This feature fits the three new play modes of Farming Simulator perfectly, as explained below.
New Farmer
This is the recommended play mode for beginners that are new to the game. It offers a balanced option to them with a small farm (the place of the farm is already chosen for them) and some basic equipment.
Farm Manager
This mode leaves everything to you by just giving you a lot of money. You don’t get any equipment or farm but you’re free to buy and build anything you wish, as well as get to choose the location you want.
Start from Scratch
This is for the most experienced users, and the most difficult play mode. You will not only not get any land, farm or other resources, but also have a limited amount of money.
You will have to plan everything carefully to grow your farming empire in this mode, as well as find the best location for your farming endeavors.
Apart from these things, the new placeable system will not only let you decide on your farm’s location, but also make it look how you want. You will also be able to customize your storage points and pastures with respect to their efficiency.
But there’s more. You would be able to have multiple farms in a multiplayer server as well, which would basically allow individual players to own multiple areas on the map, that in turn mean that they can specialize in different areas.
You would simply be allowed to use the land in whatever way you want. More details about the multiplayer gameplay will be discussed in future updates.
Finally, as always, there are going to be no restrictions on modding. Dedicated community members will be able to create everything ranging from farmhouses to farm silos and pretty much everything else.
As far as the mod maps are concerned, they would be able to choose their own areas that could be purchased, as well as the NPCs linked to them, the cost factor and the location in the New Farmer mode.
With so much new to explore, it certainly opens a lot of possibilities for you. So, what do you plan to do with all these new cool features?
