A small island in the vastness of the ocean is lonely and deserted. Although largely rough mountains, it has a fertile peninsula that has a very mild climate thanks to the Gulf Stream. Port Limbo was found off the shipping routes only a few centuries ago when Scandinavian seamen were washed by a storm. Due to the fertile wetlands and the yew groves they believed that they landed on the field god Ullr's seat and called it Ydalir Island. They felled trees, built a harbor settlement and practiced farming. Other business travelers gradually arrived on Ydalir, but because they couldn't remember the name Ydalir, they called Port Limbo island, because it's so lost in the sea. Following a fruitful and prosperous phase, Port Limbo is now threatened with decline because for reasons of age even the last farmer has to leave his farm.
Are you ready to face the challenge of building a Port Limbo farm?
Let me say, as a further motivation, that there are still many untapped wilderness and forests on the higher level of the peninsula. So if you feel like it, you might spread to Port Limbo at will.
