New Feature in Farming Simulator 22 - Production Chains
There is a certain level of quality and amount of innovation and exciting new features that we have come to expect for the developer team behind Farming Simulator. The bar is certainly very high because of the excellent quality of the game’s content so far and the fact that they continue to make the game grow in scope. We are very happy to see that Farming Simulator 22 will not disappoint in either of these aspects.
As we cannot say anything beforehand, but we are getting a very clear picture of what the finished game will include and look like by now, and we are very excited indeed! Today we are going to touch on a feature that was recently disclosed and described briefly: Production Chains.
Production Chains are getting a sizable improvement in the new version of the game, making an already huge game even bigger and more exciting. From what we have read and seen from official press releases it looks like Production Chains are getting expanded to include several more options in the game. It was already possible to produce refined goods to make an extra buck out of your crops, but it seems that now we may even be able to buy, build and manage stores such as bakeries and others like them.
It seems that this new part of the game is still a work in progress, so the team at GIANTS Software was not very willing to share a whole lot with us just yet, but they are showing us enough so that we can tell that this is going to make it into the game. Once they take this step it is officially time to get hyped about it, because they would not share such an amount of details with us otherwise.
What to expect
We cannot say for sure what the features and limitations of this aspect of the game will be, but it seems that it is getting a big overhaul, and we can probably expect to see several different buildings with specific functionality be added to the game at launch. This could mean that making money becomes a bit easier than before, but we will not know for sure until we can calculate costs and see for ourselves the profit rate on these new buildings.
Mods? You bet!
You might be wondering what kind of implications this may have on fs 22 mods and the modding scene. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we all know that having new buildings and new features added to the game opens the door for a lot of new and exciting possibilities when it comes to modding. Modders are excellent at working with what is already there to provide a fresh take, and a lot even add very interesting features to the game. We are hopeful that we will see the modding community jump into this expanded aspect of the game and create new fun and interesting ways in which to experience this excellent game.
