DayL's Natural Timecycle

This timecycle graphics mod makes the game look more natural, less dark and grey, and more vibrant. It does not use ENB or ReShade shaders, only timecycle edits. It is compatible with FusionFix and works well on low-end hardware, with performance close to vanilla.

Compatible with all GTA IV versions, including EFLC and the latest releases.

Do not combine this mod with other graphics mods. It will not work correctly and the visual result will degrade.

Recommended use:
– FusionFix for best compatibility and visuals

Installation:

Steam version path:
– C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV

Rockstar Games Launcher path:
– C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV

Steps:
– Ensure GTA IV folder is clean, without other graphics mods
– Install FusionFix version 4.0.5 or newer
– Copy all files from “Main Files” folder into GTA IV main directory
– Replace files when asked

Required in-game settings:
– Console Gamma: Off
– Bloom: On
– Screen Filter: Default
– Distant Lights: Project2DFX
– Volumetric Fog: On
– Sun Shafts: On
– Tone Mapping: On

Note:
– Console Gamma, Bloom, Screen Filter, Tone Mapping are locked via config
– Reinstall mod after FusionFix updates

Troubleshooting:

Game crashes in rainy weather:
– Shaders folder is broken (GTAIV/common/shaders)
– Restore default or FusionFix shaders

Mixing mods:
– Do not combine with other graphics mods such as iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural

Compatibility:
– Works with Steam and Rockstar Games Launcher versions
– FusionFix requires patch 1.0.7.0, 1.0.8.0 or latest official versions

Downgrade:
– Recommended patches: 1.0.7.0 or 1.0.8.0
– Use itsClonkAndre downgrade tool
– Follow downgrade guide for FusionFix setup

Performance:
– No significant impact
– Performance similar to vanilla game
