Description
Goety is a large magic mod centered around dark magic, Soul Energy and the mysterious powers used by Minecraft's Illagers. It adds new spells, summonable servants, structures, enemies, equipment, brewing systems and plenty of secrets to discover while exploring.

Features
- Spellcasting System: Equip magical Robes and use Wands or Staffs with different Focus items to cast offensive abilities and other arcane magic.
- Servants: Summon minions to follow, protect you, and fight enemies, utilizing Soul Energy for mechanics like healing.
- Brewing: Expanded potion brewing with new ingredients and custom brews for witchcraft.
- Artifices: Special devices powered by Soul Energy.
- Exploration: New mobs, structures, dangers, loot, and lore scattered throughout the world.

Getting Started – Minecraft 1.19 and 1.20
Start by crafting a Totem of Roots. The Totem can collect Soul Energy when you kill mobs, which is then used to craft various components required for further progression.

Getting Started – Minecraft 1.16
Begin by crafting a Cursed Infuser. Later, you'll be able to craft a Totem of Souls to store Soul Energy collected from killing mobs.

Soul Energy is used throughout the mod for:
- Casting magic
- Powering certain Artifices
- Healing summoned minions
- Other dark magic mechanics

- Patchouli – Adds access to the Black Book in-game guide

Installation Instructions
JEI and Patchouli are highly recommended. With Patchouli installed, you can craft the Black Book, which acts as an in-game guide to the mod and its mechanics.
