Description
Reliable Gliders adds a simple and balanced glider that lets you travel long distances through the air without completely replacing Minecraft's normal progression.
Features
- Gliding: Hold a Glider in either your main hand or off-hand and jump to start gliding. It greatly reduces falling speed and allows horizontal travel.
- Fall Protection: Completely prevents fall damage while being used.
- Durability: Loses durability every second while gliding; supports Mending and Unbreaking.
- Updrafts: Flying over specific blocks (like Fire, Lava, and Campfires) gives a small upward boost.
- Customization: Gliders can be dyed similarly to Leather Armor.
- Configuration: Settings can be changed via reliable_gliders.json or through an in-game screen with Cloth Config.
- Modpack Customization: Support for tags such as reliable_gliders:updraft_blocks and reliable_gliders:glider_repair_items.
Installation Instructions
- Cloth Config API: Optional, but recommended for the in-game configuration screen.
