I generally think it was the bad recession as under recession things shrink or get bailed out. SCS Software was in a holding pattern for a long time until recently. The economy under Trump regime is as of 2 months ago back to 2003 level and I'm seeing it with more people spending and construction going on. Stores that were hurt are now expanding or remodeling.

The whole web is one giant ad now. Microsoft originally wanted Win 10 to be a subscription only but since fans forced that to be killed MS has no idea what to do know and are just all over the place. Up a creek.......... Microsoft fired all their PC workers years ago and hired phone people in a big scandal. Steve Ballmer did that and he resigned recently saying that it will not work out to merge the two (Mobile and PC) together and that was it for him. Microsoft also announced no knew Xbox consoles just updates of the Xbone. Sony also announced no new hand helds. Nintendo is the only one missing the memo and are doing games with ridiculously large worlds and having DLC's that actually provide content not just skins or armor. The latter half of the Wii and Wii U Nintendo went backwards and games shrunk and they got stuck in New Super Mario Bros rehashing.
