You miss the difference between physical and digital property. When you take that car, there is only one car that was sold and when you give it to someone it is either a temporary lendorship through physical constraints on the fact it is only one car or a complete change in ownership. No matter what, there is only ONE car in circulation and only one person can use it at any given time. So, if more people want it, they have to buy it themselves and thus the dealership does not lose relative profits. With digital media, you are duplicating its existence and multiplying the amount in circulation outside of the seller's control, taking away their profits. You are not "sharing" it, you are giving it, and there will never be a case of only one copy remaining in circulation from the original. I'm in favor of seeing some mods leak because I don't feel like paying for them, I don't think they're worth it, but don't try to stand on some moral pedestal because you're argument is braindead.
