Speed is completely off.
Visually it's nice.
but the interiors is completely wrong, even stock. way to modern, the 405 NEVER had a "wood" trim (if you were rich and custom ordered things, that's different and can be done with literally any car, but "stock" never was an option for the 405) and the logo you use for the steering wheel (which is a modern steering wheel as well) is the more "modern" Peugeot logo used, not the one that was used during the time\production of the 405.
then the major problem, speed. I'm in the UK area using the UK settings (so, like imperial gallons, miles not kilometers etc.) and this thing literally maxes out at 56-57MPH, that's absolutely not realistic to any degree.
when you get to certain roads that have speed limits of "60 MPH" your car can't even "reach" that top speed lmao. you see all these other junk cars smoking the car that should be smoking them.
if you're not going to make it get at least 100MPH (which they EASILY could achieve) at least make them reach 80mph. to at least "feel" more like a 405.
it's so slow, it's like whoever made this mod has never been in a 405 or driven one. n why the two things that are just COMPLETELY off with it, are the two things, you'd have to at least "sit in one" to understand. n that's the interior and the speed, n with this mod, both are COMPLETELY and just WAY OFF from being a 405.
exterior visuals look nice, n the sounds are nice. just way off on that speed and the interior. all "3" choices should be "modern" because none of those options are even "slightly" close to what a stock "405" was. wood trim like it's a jaguar or something lmao. it's a 405 dude. literally "plastic" lol simple etc. sure, again, like ANY other car, if YOU have the money, you can custom install ANYTHING, but "stock", lmao, NO 405 EVER came with a "wood trim" in STOCK. steering wheel, way to modern, the logo, not the old one that was used during the 405 era.
this is going to "wow" and "trick" a lot of people that know nothing about the 405. cause you're going to "see" this and be like "oh nice a 405" lol
driving it, is a WHOLE other experience, n if you actually have been in a 405, this is just embarrassing.
I still appreciate, someone putting a 405 in ETS but please go back and re-work this.
@Peugeot205T16 Just wanted to "update" my post, since I can't edit or delete it.
The speed is actually fine (it hits, what I was at least looking for the lil over 100MPH) I'm new to ETS2 (I came from ATS) and I had no idea that in ETS2 there was an option for "truck speed limiter", the entire time I was playing ETS2 and felt like my trucks and cars were just being held back etc. was all because of that. I disabled that option and the cars\trucks all go the right speeds.
I was simply unaware of this because even if this option "Is" in ATS it's not set to "on" at least by default like it is in ETS2. I only know, because in ATS I have ever done anything in the settings, n I'm able to just go really fast in ATS, ETS2 was the only game I "noticed" that difference, so, I reached out to the ETS2 community and someone was awesome enough to let me know, that's most likely what the issue was, n it 100% was.
just take the "Truck speed limiter" setting off. so, just disregard my comments on the speed. I'd still personally like to see this "reworked" though mainly just the interior). to "mirror" an actual 405 (of "that" time aka the time when they were relevant and their "era" so-to-speak) Because, as it is. it's really like "someone" modernizing a 405, all 3 interior options are just too idk "Modern".
but aside from THAT one tiny issue (now that I have personally found out the issue to the speed on "my" end.) this mod is actually great and good to see an older Peugeot in ETS2. I wanted a 205 but the 405 is the next best thing honestly. So, no complaints. just Interior could be a bit more "classic".
