Tried it anyway...yeah, it sucked. How can I get oxygendavid's real map?

That's awesome SiMR, It only took you 20 plus years of experience to tell quality work when any 12 year old can see it plain as day. No one cares about your business on a mod site so tone it down a bit, it makes you look like a total ass hat.

I am a really touchy situation, but ill deny it. im a gamer, Farmer..who puts in the hours..and likes quality mods. im critical..because my 20+ yrs as a Professional Carpenter..a master of My Craft - 18 yrs Insurance Restoration my own company. its pisses me off to no evail..to see some half-ass not do His job right..and I got to go behind this twat waffle and fix his non skilled butcher job. I know my company and guys were the Best of the Best..because Revenue we produced. Not For Public Hire Private Co..your insurance adjuster calls me (make a pay check off others troubles) yup..love tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, floods and fires..put my guys to work and my kids trough college..food on my table. but in the end..i rebuilt peoples Dreams..and played a part in putting peoples lives back together and fealt good about my product and my work ethics..my craftsman quality comes with me where ever I got..see what im saying. I KNOW A GOOD THING. my competition? we didn' have none "WE WERE the competition" for other companys..and after 20 yrs I sold company to my guys and retired. I know quality and I can tell the difference. when I rebuilt a customers home..about $90,000 in equity improved the value of that house...I expect the same quality from others and their product & services..that's normal man talk tho..kiddy modder couldn' do my job..so yea I am a bit cocky in that way.

real touchy situation if you ask me . but im going to touch it and burn every ones feel bads . have to agree with need no permission when it comes to maps and mods. once something has been created ran through giants editor and placed for people to use in game it is officially giants property, but the one thing (needs no permission)" and people like " him/her lack is respect . it is disrespectful for a person to take someones mod and convert it (in my opinion ) with all kinds of errors and bugs and upload it to all kinds of mod sites. it causes problems for the original creator. now oxygen david is going to get blasted with all the problems people are having with his converted maps he originally created for fs 17 . if any one should have converted the map to fs 19 it should have been oxygendavid himself. NOW if they converted it for their own personal use ......... then by all means thats ok. but they didnt .... they uploaded it for everyone.

I would advice to stay away from these edits as they are very badly done have a multiple of errors and issues and are in no way connected to me or frontier design. I am working very hard to get rookery out as quick as possible so you can have a uk map on fs19 standards and do the new grapphics justice... these other badly done edits will only spoil it for you. The bottom line is Giants puts out these crap default maps. So if someone is going to take their time to convert one, even if its not perfect, why not? Everyone knows oxygenDavid did Sandy Bay originally..

Ya I agree. The bigger point being the frustration and confusion that these things can and will cause.

It doesn' matter if credit is given, when it's not actually converted by said map maker.. He made an official statement about it on his facebook page, stating it's not a conversion by him. This is just worse than not giving credit, as he'll have to "answer" for bugs that people encounter, even though he never actually convert the map, which leads to a whole new level of frustration. If you ever do a conversion of a mod, that's made by someone else, credit the original work and then state who did the conversion, so people can throw bug-reports at the right guy instead of pestering the orignal creator with "false" bugs.

This map is dreadful and you wonder why some map makers are thinking of giving up making maps please just think about it before converting maps

And there are no errors, just the warning that was on the 2 stock maps on release, about the bush being out of range. I agree that there are plenty of spots that need to be smoothed out around the map. But everything is there.
