Revenge of Regular Recession Rides v1.1
Revenge of Regular Recession Rides
Description:
– GTA IV depicts the US during the Great Recession as depressing, yet streets are full of pristine classic cars.
– This mod makes traffic more realistic and monotonous, creating a more plausible and pessimistic city atmosphere.
– Adds variety to Liberty City traffic: no more multiple identical cars at the same lights, more regular and utility vehicles, bright colors on supercars, and more.
– Any cool vehicle now stands out as if you are the main character.
– Latest versions include support for popular lore-friendly add-on cars.
Files included (can be used separately or together):
- Regular Car Colors
– Car colors are redefined based on real-life OEM options. Modern cars have fewer color choices.
– Contemporary cars mostly spawn in silvers, grays, beiges, and whites, with some typical 90’s colors like teal, dark green, dark blue, and burgundy.
– Classic cars have more color variety, including eye-catching options like:
– Aston Martin Almond Green and Mako Blue on the SuperGT
– BMW Phoenix Yellow and Estoril Blue on the Sentinel
– Popular Lamborghini colors on the Infernus
– EFLC files included for episodic vehicles
– Latest version includes colors for add-on and classic cars - Regular Recession Traffic
– Modernized Algonquin traffic and more variety in other districts
– Cool classic cars (Virgo, Peyote, Blista, Dukes) are rarer and not limited to poor citizens
– Buses, bikes, and vans spawn regularly across Liberty City
– Underused cars like DF-8, Lokus, Premier, Presidente, Pinnacle, Solair, and Willard appear commonly
– Decreased presence of Patriots and FXTs, based on uncommon cars
– Add-on cars included in latest version
– EFLC files included for episodic vehicles
