Description
Middle-Earth Additions: War Mod expands the Middle-Earth experience with an army command and Nemesis system. Recruit soldiers, organize them into armies, issue orders, launch invasions, and face persistent enemies that grow stronger after defeating you.
Features
- Recruit faction-aligned soldiers through the Hiring screen
- Command hired units to Follow you or Stay in position
- Soldiers protect their commander and assist against targeted enemies
- Units left behind can safely teleport back near their commander
- Assign custom Army IDs, such as Rangers or Shieldwall, to organize your forces
- Press I to access the War screen and launch an invasion
- Enter an Army ID to summon all units assigned to that army
- Leave the Army ID blank to summon your hired units that are not assigned to an army
- Only units owned by you respond to invasion commands
- Persistent unit tracking allows soldiers to return from distant areas and unloaded chunks
- Invasions include a short cooldown between uses
- An NPC that kills you can become your personal nemesis
- Nemeses can randomly ambush you during active gameplay, typically around every five minutes
- Each time a nemesis defeats you, it receives a promotion and can return stronger
- Nemesis identity, rank, equipment, UUID, NBT data, and title remain persistent
- Special titles grant unique abilities (e.g., The Poisonous applies Poison for 2 seconds when attacking)
- Titles can provide additional loot tables and bonus experience
- Title configurations are stored in data files, allowing new content to be added without changing the mod code
- Defeating a nemesis rolls its configured rewards and drops them into the world
- Use /nemesis bounties to open the bounty menu displaying up to 9 active and completed nemeses
- Hover over an active nemesis to view its 3D model, name, title, and upgraded rank
- Gold coin rewards are randomly generated from 1 to 3 coins when a bounty is completed and saved permanently
- Rewards are placed in your inventory or dropped nearby when your inventory is full
- /nemesis list: Displays your currently active nemeses with an 8-character ID prefix and entity type
- /nemesis summon: Summons your saved nemesis with its original UUID, equipment, and NBT data
- Designed for Fabric and multiplayer servers
