Description
Hardcore True Darkness makes Minecraft truly dark when you're in dark environments. Nights, caves, thick shadows and places without light become much harder to navigate, resurrecting the value of torches and other sources of light during exploration.
The mod also diminishes visibility exploits from fullbright settings and gamma changes, allowing for a fair and immersive experience for survival worlds, multiplayer servers, and modpacks.
Features
- Makes caves, nights, shadows and dark spots much darker
- Makes fullbright and gamma hacks less effective
- Consistent lighting via a shader-resistant darkness system
- Works with Oculus shaderpacks
- Prevents unsupported shader loaders like OptiFine and Iris from being used

Installation Instructions
This mod must be installed on both server and client connecting. Players won't be able to join servers running Hardcore True Darkness unless they have the mod installed.
