Description
Vista adds functional televisions, cameras, mirrors and other screen-based technology to Minecraft. TVs can play animated cassettes, display pictures or show a live feed from a Viewfinder placed somewhere else in the world.
Screens use a CRT-style effect with scanlines, vignette and a turn-on animation. Multiple televisions can also connect together to create one large display.
Features
- Televisions: Require a redstone signal to operate, automatically combine into larger screens (up to 8x8 by default, 24x24 maximum), and work with hoppers and droppers.
- Cassettes: Around 20 animated looping tapes found as rare loot in structures or from creepers killed by pillagers.
- Viewfinders: Remote cameras with adjustable pitch, yaw, and scroll-wheel zoom. Supports tinting via glass panes and compatibility with Supplementaries, ComputerCraft, Create (on NeoForge), and Sable sublevels.
- Mirrors: Render the actual world with proper parallax, allowing them to connect into larger surfaces and be placed flush or recessed into blocks.
