Description
This mod adds Challenges from an unknown powerful creature that you are destined to discover through lore progression. Challenges are compatible with any mod in your modpack and solve one of the hardest problems in modpacks: balance.
Some mods are overpowered and cheap, while others are weak and take a long time to use. These Challenges ensure both types are needed for progression, giving each a purpose backed by a valuable reward called Vestiges. Vestiges are powerful tools for PvP and PvE that allow you to do things other mods cannot.
Features
- Global leaderboard available in any world, in single-player or on a server.
- Mystery Chests obtainable with a certain chance when earning an advancement or completing any Challenge.
- Various Accessories that provide different bonuses.
- Void Vortex, which can make any item unbreakable.
- Boxes with random loot.
- Cool underwater content.
- Cruel Mode: Activated via /vestiges enableCruel. In this mode:
- Starvation and drowning damage become unblockable.
- Mobs have a 1% chance to spawn Empowered.
- Bosses from any mod receive x4 health and damage, 100 armor points/toughness, 90% damage reduction, health-based healing over time, and shields with overshields.
- Mobs have a high chance to spawn in random armor from your modpack.
- Access to powerful drops that allow negative enchantments and exceeding normal enchantment limits.
- Configurable Challenges: You can configure any Challenge to require a lower maximum for completion.
- Comprehensive configuration via the vp-common.toml file.
