Friends&Foes

Friends&Foes brings back mobs that lost the mob vote or were forgotten. The mod expands their original ideas and adds new vanilla-style features for each one.

Crab

Meet the Crab, a friendly mob found in mangrove swamps and on beaches. It drops a crab claw used to craft a potion that increases reach, giving you an advantage in exploration. To breed crabs, use kelp. They place their eggs in safe spots.

Tuff Golem

The Tuff Golem acts like a living statue. It can hold and display any item. When awake, it walks around randomly. Use a honeycomb to keep it in place. Craft it with a tuff block, any wool block, and a pumpkin.

Rascal

Rascal lives in mines and plays hide-and-seek. It gives hints while you search. Find it three times to receive a bundle as a reward.

Copper Golem

The Copper Golem is a small mob that randomly presses copper buttons. It oxidizes over time like other copper blocks. Use an axe or honeycomb to clean or preserve it. Craft it with a copper block, a pumpkin, and a lightning rod.

Glare

Glare is a mossy creature from lush caves. It reacts to darkness and helps you find areas where mobs can spawn. Feed it glow berries to tame or breed it.

Iceologer

Iceologer is an illager found in snowy biomes. It lives in a small spruce cabin. It attacks with ice-based abilities and creates a tough fight.

Moobloom

Moobloom is a flower-covered cow that lives in flower forests. It interacts with bees and spreads flowers as it moves.

Wildfire

Wildfire is a powerful blaze variant protected by four shields. It attacks with projectiles and shockwaves. When threatened, it summons blazes. You can find it in a citadel in the Nether.

Mauler (The Great Hunger)

Mauler is a small predator found in savannas, badlands, and deserts. It hunts animals and can store experience when fed enchanted items. The more experience it holds, the larger and more dangerous it becomes.

Illusioner

Illusioner is a ranged illager found in taiga biomes. It uses illusions and blinding spells in combat. You can find it in a shack or training area.

Zombie Horse (Trap)

Zombie Horses appear during thunderstorms. Approach them to trigger a special event with the Four Horsemen.
