Instrumentus adds a wide range of tools across multiple gameplay categories. Below is a clear overview of its main features, organized in the same way as the config file.
– Paxels. A universal tool that combines a pickaxe, shovel, and axe in one. It also strips logs and creates paths, making it useful for almost every block type
– Hammers. Vanilla-style hammers that mine a 3x3 area around the targeted block. Great for faster mining sessions
– Sickles. Designed for quickly clearing forests, leaves, tall grass, and other vegetation-heavy areas
– Shears. Shears are available in every tool material, so wool farming and early bed crafting are no longer locked behind iron
– Knives. Fast attack speed weapons with lower damage. They can also collect plant fibers from grass, which can be crafted into string
– Brushes. Brushes made from every material type. Mining speed stays the same, while durability scales depending on the material used
– Energized Tools. FE-powered tools for every standard and custom tool type added by the mod. Compatible with most FE-based mods. They can also be recharged by lightning, and one special tool can even trigger lightning strikes on rods
– Copper Tools. Copper-made tools with faster mining speed than iron, but lower durability
– Soulcopper. A new tool material that includes a special pickaxe capable of placing a Soulcopper Flame with right click, acting as a semi-renewable torch source. It also adds a Soulcopper Burner that speeds up copper oxidation, plus several decorative blocks
– Kiln. A furnace variant similar to the Blast Furnace and Smoker, designed for smelting sand, clay, and decorative block materials
– Trial Tools. A set of utility-focused tools inspired by Trial Chambers. Includes Wind Boots for double jumping and a Wind Blower block that helps prevent phantom spawns
