Countered Terrain Slabs
Countered's Terrain Slabs is a Minecraft mod that makes exploring the terrain feel more natural and smooth. Makes world generation better with custom slabs that blend right into the environment making block transitions much less harsh and making the terrain flow cleaner across hills, caves and uneven surfaces.
Features:
– Ground and ceiling slabs spawn in whole chunks, including caves and underground areas, making the world look more natural.
– Slabs can be made from many vanilla materials, including dirt, grass, mycelium, moss, gravel, sand, clay, and deepslate.
– Slabs under gravity act as their parent blocks.
– Breaking slabs will give you the original block type, not clutter your inventory with useless items.
– Added support for MidnightLib config to enable or disable slab generation.
Vegetation and snow can grow on top of slabs naturally.
Compatibility:
– Compatible with Biomes O’ Plenty and Vibrant Journeys
– Works well with Countered's Smooth Steps for better manoeuvrability.
How It Works:
The mod creates slabs in addition to the usual terrain generation, smoothing transitions between elevation levels while retaining the vanilla Minecraft look. Hills, slopes and cliffs are naturally easier to traverse without changing the core gameplay feel.
