The Illinois DLC for ATS features the city of Moline: first screenshots 1
Many fans of Amirican Truck Simulator are looking forward to the release of a new DLC called «Illinois». It promises exciting content and a lot of fun from traveling around the large US state, where you will find the legendary roads and cities of America.
The Steam page for this add-on has already appeared, but the developers have not yet announced an exact release date. However, the community was shown screenshots of a new city - Molin, which is one of the main cities of Illinois in ATS. It sits on the banks of the legendary Mississippi River.
Center for Agricultural Technology
It is an industrial city with a rich history. It has one of the largest agricultural machinery factories in the world.
It is logical to assume that here in the game you will be able to get loads for delivery, and most likely this will be large agricultural machinery such as harvesters.
Given the large dimensions of such technology, surely for the delivery of such goods will pay very good money.
Unique objects and atmosphere
The city is famous not only for industry, but also interesting attractions. For example, you can take the colorful Bridge 485.
This huge concrete structure was once used by the Montgomery Elevator Company as a test site. And the tower that you can see on the screen was used for high-speed elevators. Today it has become a symbol of the waterfront and is well recognized even from afar.
Not without educational facilities - the city presents the campus of the University of Western Illinois, located along the River Drive, a road that runs parallel to the Mississippi River.
Great River Road
The developers paid special attention to the Great River Road - a cult route, recognized as the «highway of all America». In the game it is conveyed with an emphasis on cultural and scenic value, well conveying the whole atmosphere of traveling along the Mississippi.
Historical architecture
The history of the city goes back to the mid-nineteenth century, when the settlement was actively developed thanks to a river that served both as a transport artery and a source of energy for the first factories.
For those who love cultural details, there is also something to admire in Malina. For example, the former cathedral of the Scottish rite, which has been converted into a theater. This highlights how the city combines respect for the past and new ways of using historic buildings.
The developers have paid a lot of attention to small details, in order to convey as much detail as possible all the atmosphere and authenticity of this state. Many can’t wait for the release of this add-on, but unfortunately the exact release date is not yet available. But you can already add the DLC Illinois to your Steam wishlist. In the meantime, we are waiting for new updates from the developers!
