Assetto Corsa EVO is Preparing a Powerful Update!
After the impressive launch of the Early Access version of Assetto Corsa EVO on January 16, the passions around the project have calmed down a bit. However, as it turned out, this calm is just before the storm. Judging by the reports of Kunos Simulazioni developers, we are waiting for a really big update, which can shake up the community and return the interest to the game on a new level.
Interesting details appeared on the official Discord server of the studio from Stefano Casillo - co-founder of Kunos, who in March returned to the team as technical director. He apologized for the long wait: "Sorry that the update is so delayed. We've been making a lot of changes based on your feedback since the Early Access release. But the new version looks VERY busy: improvements, optimizations, new content - it's full of everything. Just a little patience..."
Recall that the last notable update, version 0.1.6, was released on February 19 and brought with it the first content drop. After that, there was silence in the community. This caused many fans to be concerned. Especially considering that the game's release itself was accompanied not only by raves, but also a number of comments on performance, especially in VR.
However, as noted by Casillo, the official announcement of the new details is planned for next week. Best of all, after this update, the team plans to pick up the pace and release patches much more frequently. “Once we release this update, we hope to move to releasing new versions more frequently,” he added.
You can see the Assetto Corsa EVO early access update roadmap below.
The upcoming updates should include five new cars, Circuit of the Americas track, Custom Race Weekend mode, fresh special events, replay tools and a gallery. The developers also promise a step forward in implementing VR and triple-screen support, a topic especially important for sim racers looking for maximum immersion.

Try to some degree to reproduce the FFB of the OG Assetto Corsa game. Fix reflections inside the car as they dont change or respond to your movement in VR.
