Description: RED4ext is a special library for modders that significantly expands the functions of REDengine 4. Mod creators for CyberPunk 2077 often use it when creating their works. It is also needed for regular users. Mods created with this library will not work without it or will work with errors and lags. Therefore, if you download a mod for CyberPunk and see RED4ext in the requirements, you will need to download this add-on to avoid errors in the mod's operation.

For Developers!

The library consists of two parts - RED4ext and RED4ext.SDK. The first is a loader and offers plugin management functions. RED4ext.SDK contains reverse types, as well as various auxiliary functions, allowing for significant engine expansion. It can be used separately from RED4ext!

When developing a new plugin, you can add only RED4ext.SDK (github) to your project.

For Players!

The add-on is often required to run many CyberPunk 2077 mods. Usually, where you download a mod, the requirements will list RED4ext. Therefore, it is recommended to download and install it if you frequently use mods in the game.

Installation Instructions:

Download the .zip archive from the link below.
Unpack its contents into the main directory of the game.
Done. You can start the game.

If errors appear, you can see them in the log file - /red4ext/logs/red4ext.log.

Uninstalling RED4ext: Simply delete the files d3d11.dll and powrprof.dll from the /bin/x64 directory. It is also recommended to delete the red4ext folder in the main directory where CyberPunk is installed, but its deletion is not mandatory.
