Assetto Corsa EVO Update 0.2.1: List of Changes and Fixes
Assetto Corsa EVO developers have released a small but important update numbered 0.2.1, which is already available on Steam. The patch weighs very little, but it includes a lot of edits and improvements.
These include updates to the UI, changes and improvements to graphics, gameplay physics and audio. Below is a more complete list of everything this update includes.
Graphics and Visual Effects Improvements

Fixed visualization issues with the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA and Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 (964), particularly affecting tuned versions.
The game now automatically adjusts the size of the texture pool to the amount of video memory on your graphics card. Also added an option to disable depth of field via video settings. Fixed pop-up trees on some tracks and fixed interface glitch on triple monitors.
Interface and Navigation
This update also added many UI updates to AC Evo. Some bugs and errors have been fixed and various improvements have been added.
The full list of changes:
- Fixed an issue with displaying car thumbnails after customization (including when using the back or ESC buttons).
- Dynamic car previews now correctly take into account camera shifts in the showroom.
- Fixed a potential problem with "knocked down" font in Steam-version of the game.
- Cyclic update (round robin) is disabled in showroom mode and during session pause - now FPS is more stable.
- Fixed incorrect focusing after deleting a car in the showroom.
- Corrected behavior of navigation through the controller - improved menu path.
- Hidden texture pool size option in video settings.
- Implemented time-based scrolling in lists: model selection, grid editor, car presets.
Gameplay Adjustments
The patch fixes problems with R301 Academy events, as well as with the license system in the car dealership. Licenses are now updated correctly after receiving new ones, and you can see an error message if the game does not have access to the “Documents” folder. Car prices from update 0.2 have also been revised.

- Implemented correct updating of the license list after receiving a new license.
- Added a warning if the "Documents" folder is not available for writing.
- Updated prices of cars added in version 0.2.
- Stabilization - stability control is now disabled by default in all helper sets.
- The "pit lane speed limit" aid is now enabled by default on all aid presets except "Pro".

Fine tuning and physics
- Corrected incorrect values sent to Force Feedback - improved steering responsiveness.
- Fixed errors in car settings limits - now the parameters are set correctly.
- Porsche 964 Turbo steering has been redesigned - the car's behavior has become more realistic and predictable.
Audio updates
The list of changes is completed by sound corrections for Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoluzione - its external engine now sounds richer and more realistic.
