Vice City returns in GTA 6 - only now it's not a glossy postcard from the 80s, but a modern, aggressive and dangerous metropolis. Neighborhoods are divided, streets are under control, and each neighborhood has its own gang. Criminal gangs here are not just statisticians, but living participants of events. With them you can work, you can conflict, and you can just stay away.
Gangs of Leonida: who they are

The main players of the criminal world of the new state of Leonida have already been revealed in leaks and trailers. Here are those who are likely to be at the center of street events:
S4S (San 4 San) - Haitians, controlling drugs, underground deals, and even the street sneaker trade.
Guardia Brothers - possibly a Cuban family with Mafia roots, active in the north of the city.
Far Right Militia - far-right with military training, more like a radical army than a classic gang.
High Rollers - biker culture with a media bias, noisy motorcycle rides and complete anarchy on the roads.
M7 - still a mystery, but if this is a reference to MS-13, then expect serious guys with no brakes.
Each gangs will have a specific area under control. Neighborhoods like Little Haiti or San Furan Hood aren't just a backdrop for walking around. Here gangs hold gas stations, pawn stores, stores and warehouses. Somewhere you'll be able to make a deal, and somewhere you'll be met with a gun to the face just for walking into the wrong place.
In these zones there will be random events, missions, meetings with the right people. Everything will be controlled by the locals. There will be a lot of game mechanics of interacting with gangs. You will be able to be part of a gang, help them one gang and harm gruga. If you want, you can even create your own gang.
How gangs live in GTA 6

According to leaks, gangs will be very active in the game. In GTA 6 the life of street gangs will be boiling around the clock. For example, in some neighborhoods at night are real parties - wild parties that start closer to three in the morning. Getting into the gang will not be so easy: first you will have to pass a test, and it is not a fact that you will be accepted at all.
The markets between the gangs are constantly changing. Yesterday there was one gang, tomorrow there's another. There are drug deals going on under the cops' noses that need to be disrupted or shut down. Not only money will be used, but also rare goods - for example, sneakers, which on the streets are valued almost like gold.
Sometimes it comes down to looting, when groups raid other people's territories or warehouses. And in other cases, it's all about control - who keeps the gas station, who runs the pawn shop, and who runs the hidden warehouse. The player will definitely not get bored.
You can not only participate in their affairs, but also influence what's going on. It may be possible to take over territories, choose who to support, and who to hand over to the police or simply eliminate. Street dynamics will change depending on your actions.
But no one has canceled the lawlessness. There will be a whole system of law enforcers in the game. Vice City police, sheriffs, highway patrols, special forces, and maybe even the FBI. Each structure has its own area of responsibility.
GTA is famous for references and the return of legendary groups. Most likely, we will again see or at least hear about the Cubans from Los Cabrones, Haitians, Colombian cartel. Maybe bikers will return - the same Angels of Death. And it is not excluded that somewhere in the depths of the map there will be a house with the inscription “Versetti”, just as a reminder of the old king of Vice City.
