Rockstar is trying to take the famous franchise to a whole new level, and mechanics play an important role. So GTA 6 will also have a lot of new mechanics. It is said that NPCs will now be able to adapt to the weather, change traffic routes, respond to news and social events.

For the first time it will be possible to play a female character

This is perhaps one of the biggest innovations. For the first time in the GTA series, a female main character will appear in the game - Lucia, who is rumored to be one of the two protagonists.

Her story is inspired by the bonni-kladiov stories with a mixture of drama, love, crime and freedom. Rockstar wants to show a new perspective on the criminal world - more personal, emotional and socially relevant. Together with her partner Jason, Lucia will become the main character for whom you can play. Her past is full of difficulties. She passed poverty, betrayal and lived her whole conscious life in the streets. After being imprisoned, she decides to take her fate into her own hands, but instead of saving herself, she chooses the path of risk.

GTA 6 as a cultural phenomenon

Interest in GTA 6 has long gone beyond the gaming industry. Every new trailer is broken down frame by frame, fans build maps and build whole theories around this game.

The ViMap project (GTA 6 Mapping Project) is a clear confirmation of this. The community of enthusiasts has already practically recreated a map of the future game based on trailers, coordinates and geographical analogies with real Florida. Some fans are sure that map GTA 6 will be 2.5 times larger than the GTA V. But if this is true, time will tell.

2026 in the game world will definitely be the year of GTA 6, because all attention will be devoted to this game. Release scheduled for 26 May and at the moment there is no information about the transfer. The game will first be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and then on PC, although the release date of the computer version has not yet been announced.
