RockStar officially announced the release of GTA 6. It has been awaited by many people, and finally they have waited for it. But then comes the question - when will the game be released? The official release of GTA 6 is scheduled for 2025. But as for the exact date of release, it has not yet been announced. Nevertheless, new rumors continue to appear in the network, related to the possible launch of one of the most anticipated games of the decade. What is known about it at the moment? Not so long ago on the site of the Uruguayan video game network XUruguay appeared information about the release date of Grant Theft Auto VI - September 17, 2025. This day coincides with the release date of the previous part of the series, GTA V, which was also released on September 17 in distant 2013. Xuruguay is a fairly reputable publication, which cooperates with PlayStation. Therefore, this information may well be considered reliable. Although, take into account that this is not official information from the developers and the final release date may be different.

There are other versions. According to the publication of the edition Kotaku, GTA 6 may be released on October 28, 2025. This date fits into Rockstar's strategy of releasing major releases on Tuesdays, and also does not overlap with the release of Borderlands 4, scheduled for September 23. Both games are published by Take-Two Interactive, and presumably release dates are coordinated within the corporation.

At the same time, we can not exclude the possibility of postponing the project.
