GTA 6 and PS5 Pro: 60fps Support, Bundles and Exclusive Chips
A well-known gaming insider under the nickname Detective Seeds has once again shared interesting details about the upcoming GTA 6.
According to him, the base version of PS6 will not be able to run GTA 6 at 60 frames per second. Support for this mode will allegedly be exclusive to the PS5 Pro - an updated and more powerful version of the console from Sony.
On the standard PS5 - 30 FPS or dynamic frequency

According to preliminary reports, on the standard PS5 players will be limited to 30 FPS, or dynamic performance scaling with frequent frame rate drops in saturated scenes.
The game will be very demanding, so, such limitations are a given that will have to be accepted.
Sony and Rockstar collaboration
An insider claims that Sony is actively working with Rockstar Games, which is helping to adapt the game to the new PS5 Pro features. According to him, this version of the console will be able to offer several graphics modes, among them full 60 frames per second.
As part of the marketing partnership, special PS5 Pro bundles with GTA 6 are scheduled to be released. In addition, the console is likely to receive exclusive features or support as part of the release of the new blockbuster.
Release - Spring 2026
Recall that the release of GTA 6 is scheduled for May 26, 2026. The game will appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and the PC version will be released later (when - still unknown).
