GTA 6 Main Characters: Meet Lucia and Jason, the New Criminal Duo
Official information about the characters in GTA 6 is still not much, the first trailers and plums already give an idea of who will be in the center of events. We tell you what we know about the main and minor characters of the new chapter of the crime saga.
Main characters: Lucia and her partner

Lucia is a new type of hero for the Grand Theft Auto universe. She is the first full-fledged female protagonist in the main storyline. Before female characters in the main roles could be seen only in GTA Online or in the conventional menus of old parts. But Lucia is a different story.
She's Latina, judging by her accent and appearance. At the time of the first trailer, she is shown wearing a prison uniform. You can see that she has just been released from prison, but with an electronic bracelet on her leg. Her criminal career is rumored to have started with robbing small stores and coffee shops. However, the trailer already shows that the stakes are rising, and now she is involved in more serious cases.
Lucia is charismatic, brave and, it seems, quite dangerous. Her story is not just a path to money and power, but an emotional journey that has room for love, risk, and most likely betrayal.
Jason is Lucia's partner

Lucia's partner's name has not been officially confirmed yet. However, it appears in leaks as Jason. In the trailer, he is glimpsed alongside Lucia, either at the heist or during the escape. He seems more calm and collected than her. You can see that he knows how to handle a gun and knows when it's best to go into the shadows.
The relationship between Lucia and her partner is apparently more than just a business partnership. There is clearly chemistry between the two, and there are already comparisons being made to Bonnie and Clyde. Some fans are finding similarities to the duo from The Place Under the Pines, where love and crime go hand in hand.
Many believe that the central theme of the plot will be not just robberies, but exactly the relationship between the main characters. Rockstar know how to surprise the endings, and here will clearly not just “ran away with money and live on the beach”.
There are also rumors that the game may have a third protagonist. The leaks mentioned a character named Kai, who could possibly be controlled. However, there is no confirmation of this information yet.
Secondary characters
Stefanie

Stefanie is a social worker at the Leonida Department of Corrections. She is seen in the trailer during the meeting with Lucia. She is the one who oversees her cases when she is in detention. Outwardly - strict, businesslike, but perhaps it will turn out to be more complicated than it seems. Such characters in GTA often play an important role in the formation of heroes - and perhaps Stephanie will be the “moral compass”, which then either breaks or helps to get out of the hole.
Rudi

Rudi is a typical representative of the “internet age Leonida”. In the trailer, he is shown in a social media clip where he flies out of a moving pickup truck against the backdrop of an explosion. The whole thing is signed with the comment “RIP Rudi - see you in heaven, bro.” Obviously, he's a victim of his own stupidity and adrenaline. Such a character could be a meme or part of a black satire on modern internet culture, where likes are more important than safety.
Wyman
A mechanic and car fanatic. Loves to tinker with cars, believes in conspiracy theories, and apparently will give missions to steal cars. In leaked material, he discusses the death of Jay Norris and accuses Lifeinvader of selling data to the Chinese. There are no accidents in his world, only hidden meanings and boxes of parts. Perhaps he will become something of an “automotive Lester”, giving quests to mine rare cars - among them the Mamba GT and Riata Classic.
Leonida Impertinent
Nameless, tattooed, slightly insane. His face and the “impentinent” (misspelled) tattoo on his forehead are an obvious reference to the real-life Florida Joker, Lawrence Sullivan. In GTA, he's a local criminal who gets arrested because his tattoo gave him away to the police. He is a character that mocks criminal stupidity and self-centeredness. He's so cartoonish that he's already become an internet star even before the game's release.
Hamlet Woman

One of the most absurd scenes in the first trailer is a woman in an apartment complex with two hammers at her side. She yells, lunges at the camera and shows the full extent of the local madness. A neighbor films her on a stream signed as “LuchaLibreFan.” She's been dubbed “Karen from GTA” and it seems she's going to become a symbol of Leonida's rowdy, out-of-control lifestyle. Living next door to her is definitely not a good idea.
Many of these characters are inspired by real-life personalities and memes. As always, Rockstar plays off social trends, cultural phenomena, and even internet celebrities. And the more such “secondary” characters, the more lively and absurd the world of GTA VI will seem.
