GTA 6: Secrets, Easter Eggs, and Hidden Features!
Rockstar traditionally warms up interest in GTA 6. And not only by atmosphere and graphics, but also by tons of hidden details. The first trailer of the project turned out to be a real find for fans of Easter hints: attentive viewers found references to previous games, real events, cult movies and even Internet memes.
Direct movie motifs: “Quinn and Slim,” ‘Scarface’ and Bonnie and Clyde

The first official image of Lucia and Jason refers to the movie “Quinn and Slim” - their poses are almost identical to a shot from the picture.
The bullet holes in the car are reminiscent of a scene from the Bonnie and Clyde story, while the building in the background is a replica of the motel from Scarface with Al Pacino.
In the game you can also notice pants, similar to those worn by Claude from GTA III, and a club, stylized as Vice City 2002 - visual echo with the atmosphere of the past parts can be traced in every fragment.
Shared universe and series brands

One character's T-shirt in the Jack of Hearts club lists the cities of Liberty City, Vice City, Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and Alderney. This isn't just a mere pass-haha, but a direct reminder that all of these locations are part of one big GTA universe.
On the door of Uncle Jack's store there's a sticker with Everett Morgan's face from Red Dead Online, and next to it there's Petty Forever - a reference to Tom Petty, whose song Love is a Long Road accompanies the trailer. Even the artwork for the Full Moon Fever album cover is no accident here - it's all thoughtful elements of musical and visual style.
Florida Man, Real Memes and Wild Absurdity

Many scenes in the trailer are literally lifted from life and the internet. Images with an alligator in a hot tub, inadequate dancing, strange street scenes and even watering flowers from the mouth - all this is a visualization of the popular Internet meme Florida Man, a symbol of wild American everyday life.
The “Beware of Vicious Dog” sign is adorned with the face of Chop, Franklin's dog from GTA V - a reference not only to the game, but also to the HUD from The Five, where he also appeared. And while Chop himself, alas, will not appear in Part 6, fans are thrilled with this attention to detail.
Even the chase is a reference

The scene with the police helicopter transmitting the chase live is visually recreated in the image of American TV shows that actually broadcast real road chases. This snippet emphasizes how much Rockstar relies on reality and its grotesque manifestations.
Real footage and social media - life in GTA

Some scenes in the trailer recreate viral clips from the internet. For example, the mass behavior of people on the beach, watering flowers with their mouths, splashing, fighting, dancing - all this is taken from real recordings that can be found on YouTube and in TikTok. And Rockstar doesn't just copy it, but turns it into game reality, saturating Weiss City with modern media realities.
Also in-game analogues of social networks are actively used in the trailer, which makes it clear that digital culture and internet behavior will become an important part of gameplay.
Visual details: clothes, transportation, objects
Special attention should be paid to the realism of the night city, which is reminiscent of Miami. In one of the frames you can see a Ferrari Testarossa - an obvious welcome to Vice City in the 80s. In another - drifting at night, hinting at a possible expansion of street racing mechanics.
A woman with hammers also appears, inspired by a real-life character from news videos, and a biker recreated from a famous image from American motorcycle culture.
It's a full-blown cultural mosaic that weaves together gaming history, modern society, movies, music and internet memes. Rockstar did not limit themselves to nostalgia - they transferred all the crazy rhythm of modern life into the game reality. And if there are so many references in the trailer, then in the game itself fans will have a real “Easter madness”.
