The entire gaming community of fans of Grand Theft Auto counts the days until 26 May 2026, because it is on this day, according to the developers, should take place the most anticipated 6th part of GTA.

Previously, CEO of Take-Two Strauss Zelnick expressed great confidence that there will be no transfers. Obbe Vermeij, a former employee of Rockstar, has similar views. Several other reputable people from the world of gaming also believe that Rockstar aims to stick with the set deadlines and release the game as planned.

However, a well-known insider and journalist Tom Henderson in a recent podcast from Insider Gaming has suggested that developers might still be able to reschedule the release for the fall of 2026. The reason is not the difficulties of development, but that by moving to autumn developers will be able to earn much more.

Henderson believes that moving from May to October would be a great move for the company, because there are many holidays in the US at this time and people will be more willing to buy the game.

However, the journalist immediately informed that it is only his personal opinion and no insider information about the transfer he does not have.

There is no official date transfer of information. So far the planned date - May 26, 2026 remains valid.

Initially GTA 6 should be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.  Also for the first time in the game you can play for a female staff - Lucia. As for PC version of the game, it is unknown when it will be released.

The game will return to the legendary city of Vice City, but already in the realities of our days.
