Rockstar Releases Second GTA 6 Trailer — and Surprises Again!
Recently, Rockstar has started talking more about the upcoming GTA 6. Earlier, as you may remember, they announced the official release date of the game - May 26, 2026. Now they have released the second trailer. Recall that the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer was released about a year ago. There was a lot of controversy and conspiracy theories around it, why it took so long for the studio to release a new trailer. And now the second Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has been released - and Rockstar has done it again in an unexpected way.
The video added weight and context to what was already known, as well as giving a first look at the two main characters, Jason and Lucia. The pair are apparently caught in the middle of a major criminal conflict and are now trying to survive in the Leonidas State, a detail-rich and dangerous version of Florida.
The plot begins to unfold with a botched robbery. The heroes are forced to flee, but this is only the beginning. In the video it becomes clear: in their story there will be no easy solutions or reliable allies. Everything rests on mutual trust - and on who will be the first to pull out a gun.
The video is filled with accents on the visual aesthetics of the southern United States: humid air, sunshine, neon, road noise and dilapidated houses. Rockstar doesn't forget about humor, but now it's bitter and precisely dosed. The trailer begins with a phrase about “leaks” - literally and metaphorically. Whether this hints at internal problems, or is just an ironic commentary on the leaks of yesteryear remains to be seen.
You can watch that very trailer below. Also, don't forget to write your comments to express your impressions of what you've seen.
